April 25, 200718 yr NOTE: There was going to be commentary with this as with the Camaro and Challenger Design Development threads. To be quite honest, I'm strapped for time anymore while focusing on other projects, so that feature is going to have to sit out this installment. Just enjoy the sketches straight outta Shanghai -- it is, after all, what you really came for. April 25, 200718 yr DESIGN: 2007 BUICK RIVIERA CONCEPT Enjoy and you can now post your thoughts and comments. For photos of the finished concept car, please see this thread: SHANGHAI: Buick Riviera Concept - Image Gallery. Thanks for looking!
April 25, 200718 yr If this should go into production, those other concepts look more Riviera than the actual one. I am sure that they would use more of that too.. Those drawings are quite nice and fantastic. The only thing that is sad to me is how the Chinese Buick designers know Buick more than the American GM designers do. That car says "Riviera".
April 26, 200718 yr Gosh that thing looks great and the Park Ave does too. When can we drive these in America? GM I can't wait much longer.
April 26, 200718 yr If the production LaCrosse resembles this inside and out, there's no reason it shouldn't be a smash hit. The outside shouldn't have changed from that. It's similar, but that looks way cooler.
April 26, 200718 yr The grille on the finished concept is too high. Lower it and it would be OK. They put a front plate on the concept to disguise the fact. When have you ever seen a front plate on a concept car? It's a problem with the design, fix it and the next gen EP2 Buick should sell.
