Sorry to steal you thunder GM4LIFE.:spin:

If it had not been for your thread I might not have

ever got around to posting my story and having it

published. I saw the page a few times but did not

think I could actually get on there. I mean I loved

every Cadillac I've had & most of the ones I've

driven but let's face it, none of them have been in

the same category as a wood-carved Hearse, V16

roadster or even a 1959 sedan deVille.

You can't miss it... I'm right after the video of the

1973 Eldorado pace car & the dude from Las Vegas

with the baby blue Fleetwood on 13"s.

XP will laugh his a$$ off no doubt...

Here's an imageshack version for those who have

trouble with the link. One photo of Big Red & TWO

photos of my 1986 Fleetwood Brougham. Loved

that old tank.

They didn't include the photo of Sofia on the hood

of Big Red w/ the live Christmas Wreath, probably

something to do with the internet & kids' safety,

to be honest that might be a good thing. But for

the one or two on here who have not sen it, here

it is... like I said in my Cadillac Story this was our

Christmas card in 2005.

Wow... cool, Thanks!

I talked to the guy for a good 10 minutes, he's got a lot of cars for sale,

interestingly enough the red/red-white/white Sedan deVille is something

I am interested in, however price being a factor I think this is the one I

might be more serious about:

XP might be looking to buy a certain 500cu.in. powered car soon and I

just might buy this one to piss him off. We've got a friendly game of

"CU.IN. Wars" going right now, so far he's got me beat big time with

his 460/429 powered cars but I've got him beat in model years... my

1959 being a good seven years older than his 1967. :P

If he smites me by dropping in a 572 into some car of his I just might

have to pull out all the stops and sell off everything except the 1959

and buy a pre-war car for a daily driver!

OK - gotta ask - what is a 572?

The 572 is the latest evolution of the SUPER-big-block GM crate motor.

It's basically a 454 on steriods!

Now that's a thing of beauty. Can I fit one in my '76 Eldo?

You sir have the sickness... if you think that a 2dr convertible with a 8.2 liter motor is lacking cubic inches!!! :D

Make your Eldo RWD while you're at it.

Glad you went for it Panther and got it published. Sharp looking car you got there sir. I love Cadillacs...

Thanks dude....

So now I have had a letter published in Road & Track as well as

Sport Compact Car, Photos published in Car & Driver, Autoweek

and '68 Camaro Burnout photos published in Car Craft, I've won

the 2nd place amateur category in Motor Trends' 2000 design

contest and all kinds of other crap, but this is about as cool as it

gets right there. My name on the Cadillac website. :D
