Perrine BPG "Hummer Happening & Classic GM Car Show"

Featured Replies

Those of you located in central New Jersey, Perrine Buick-Pontiac-GMC on Route 130 North in Cranbury (Mercer County), they're celebrating their 80th Anniversary with a "Hummer Happening and Classic <GM> Car Show" on Saturday, June 2 from 10:00AM - 4:00PM rain or shine. The Hummer H3T concept truck and the Pontiac G8 sedan are highlighted on their flyer and newspaper ads. maybe I'll take the SKY there and show it off! :P

Sometimes things shown in flyers are meant to be 'representational'.... isn't Perrine's a bit small to truck a few comcepts there?

If you would, ping me a day or 2 before- I might have time to pop over.

Well, I remember at the 2004 show they had a preproduction Solstice on display that attendees were able to sit in; at this point, you still couldn't even get that close to them at the major auto shows. The downside to the H3T mention is that they have a H3 "SUT" chop as the representation of the H3T, and it basically looks like the H3 frontend on a H2 SUT! I'll try to make it out there that day, just to see what GM allows there and what classic GM's come out.

Here are some pictures I took at the show this past Saturday. The last one, the black & white Dodge Charger HEMI police crusier, has been posted to serve as a reminder to any & all speeders in Cranbury, NJ along the Route 130 corridor that they are indeed ready to pull you over :P

Nice, GMTG. My favorites are the '60 and '62 Pontiacs and the H3t.

Cool.

Am I going senile or does that 1933 Pontiac have a Dodge Bros. emblem on the radiator shell???

I don't think it had a Dodge Bros. grille emblem on it... on each side of the hoods is an early '60s Tri=Power emblem... this 1933 Pontiac has a '66 GTO 389 V8 stuffed in there... the color is Indigo Blue (GMC Sonoma color from '99, the owner said) over black fenders.

It's a gorgeous car, well done & executed.

The winged emblem just does not sit right w/ me though....

Thankfully all NJ police seem to leave their radar guns on full blast, full time, so any decent radar detector.... and certain dental work... can spot them a mile off.
