That chart with the different transmissions used for different displacements is very interesting. If the pics of the trannys are at least approximately positioned correctly, GM is going to have some pretty serious power in the future.

Most of it is a snapshot of the PDF, that used to be in the GM powertrain technology section. (Same with the X22f post)

Well the 06 Duramax has 650 lb-ft, which is more than 705Nm, but it also uses the Allison.
