A Question for CD

Mr. Lensman,

If Cobalt SS Turbo is supposed to bow in 2008, have there been any mule spottings for it, just like the HHR SS?

Because we have not seen ANY of its spy pictures.

Nope.

It's certainly possible they are testing the powertrain in a current model Cobalt that would not have any visible difference on the outside.

Either that or testing it in a Galaxy far, far, away! :smilewide:

So is it reasonable to assume that the Turbo will be visibly the same as the Supercharged version in the 08, or that we can expect a little bit of better exhausts and new rims? I think with the new found HP gain, GM might go to fatter set of rubber than the "skinny" 215 found on the Supercharged.

but remember all those types of mods... can be assumed as aftermarket testing... the only time you will get spy pictures is when something sounds extremely crazy driving around a professional track testing... or body modifications are made... rims, exhaust, induction, etc. are alll things that can be tested without anyone noticing unless the turbo is really loud like some poeple were saying the blue devil (sc?) was...

Jep ......theres enuff modified Cobalt SS's out there now , that GM could go 100% under the radar testing in a existing test car . The way its looking , the MCE got cancelled as far as I can tell . So the 08-09 would be the current body anyways . Not unless the 2008 regular Cobalts are just a real short run , and the MCE version comes out as 09's in the spring with the new SS version .

Well....that's not really true at all. :D
