May 24, 200718 yr I saw one on the street today, looked funny for an SUV to be that short. RDX: 1655 mm Compare this to Vibe/Matrix: 1580 mm Equinox/Torrent: 1703 mm RAV4: 1745 mm I mean, yes, it's taller than the Vibe/Matrix, but that's not saying much.
May 24, 200718 yr It's a Hon-Duh so there's much more effed up about it than just weelbase or over all length... Edited May 24, 200718 yr by Sixty8panther
May 24, 200718 yr it only needs to be big enough to hold shopping bags from the mall. as far as the intended clientele.......
May 24, 200718 yr It's not that new... Considering how many they've sold... It could be new to him... seeing it on the road.
May 24, 200718 yr Author Considering how many they've sold... It could be new to him... seeing it on the road. Actually, yes, this is the first one I've seen in real life. Is this really that old?? By 'short' I meant height, not length.
May 24, 200718 yr A whole thread just because the RDX is 2 inches shorter than the Equinox? Someone must be bored today.......
May 24, 200718 yr Its been out for about a year (there was one in the showroom at the Acura dealership when I had to go get some paperwork regarding the Solara) but they do sell slowly. Probably because the MDX is better in every way for a few bucks more per month.
May 25, 200718 yr The MDX is the king of midsized SUV/Crossovers, according to Car and Driver. http://www.caranddriver.com/comparisons/12...uxury-suvs.html Whereas the RDX didn't achieve any special recognition, gets compared to the CX-7, and costs only $7,000 less than the MDX. May 25, 200718 yr Hmm, the MDX is the first crossover to beat out the SRX in C&D's comparisons. And the good thing is SRX still finished second compared to the Germans and others. Not bad for an aging platform and design.

If only the SRX didn't get straight black marks (worst reliability) in all areas from Consume Reports, for 2004-2005 model years. I want to know what exactly about the SRX caused it to get straight black marks in all categories of reliability.

May 26, 200718 yr Since when were their words a marking on the stone? When its convenient like the Fusion being lauded.
