June 3, 200718 yr Author So here's the deal guys. I am contemplating a move out of the country for a few years. I plan to put the CTS up on swaplease to get out of my lease early, but I do want a vehicle <other than the Avalanche> to drive in the meantime while I'm still in the states. Storage when I leave isn't a problem. So I'm looking at 1979-1985 E-bodys and the Seville. Maaaybe a RWD 98 if I find one I like enough. Here is a Toronado I like

As for your move ... good luck with whatever you decide to do. How soon would you be moving, if you do? June 4, 200718 yr My girlfriend would cream at that interior. Very nice shape, though. GM should've made a Diesel V4-6-8. Would've been a hoot.
June 4, 200718 yr Just as ugly as the day it was new. :AH-HA_wink: Sorry guys, but I have always hated these cars and the diesel makes it even worse. The previous style Seville was a classy ride though.
June 4, 200718 yr Even though the description says that it got the updated replacement diesel engine, I'm still surprised there's a functioning 5.7 liter diesel engine on the road. It has got to be pretty rare. They don't do interior colors like that any more, but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. GM used to do lots of really red interiors.

'Rockabye' I'm looking to be out of here by this time next year. Most likely between April and June 2008, definitely not prior to February. Koeln Germany looks like my most likely destination. I want to get rid of both the Avalanche and CTS to save myself the $900 a month in car payments. I think an old E-body with a 4x8 trailer will fill my needs as far as maintaining my rentals is concerned.
June 4, 200718 yr Too much money, but damn is it tempting. Those are the coolest rims I have EVER seen in my life! GM should've made a Diesel V4-6-8. Would've been a hoot. God damn that's an idea!!!

Any negatives to having them buy your lease out, that you're aware of??? Any advice you can give will be greatly appreciated!

Glad you'll still be around this August ... if I go to the family reunion in PA, hopefully we can meet up like we did last year. June 5, 200718 yr Sarcasm aside, those rims are wild. Ugly as they are I'd leave them if it was my car... those are pretty unique.
