'55/6 Chrysler New Yorker sedan

'58 Edsel Pacer

'59 Edsel Bermuda wagon

A sky blue MG Midget for sale.

An XLR in bright red. Didn't know they made them in that color. Looked awesome.

Two Minis, silver with black bonnet stripes and black roof, British racing green with a white roof.

An Enclave in "auto show color" (Mocha?). Looked good, though I like the silver and red ones I've seen better, I think.

'70 Ford Falcon 2-dr sedan, gold, very tired (Torino body)

'65 Cadillac Series 75 Miller-Meteor end-loader hearse, black ( ), some contained rot, still presentable, busted impossible-to-find windshield. I should ask about this one.....

1971 Pontiac LeMans 2dr ht, burgundy/blk/blk

1950 Hudson Hornet... (very rough, under car cover)

1962 Buick Special wagon, beige/silver interior

1958 Mercury station wagon

1991 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham based hearse

1975 Chevrolet elCamino

1980 Toyota Corolla 2dr ht

Just got back from Armenia... saw lots of Ladas, both the sedan and the Niva (small two door 4x4).

Toyota was showing off the new Auris in Rennes yesterday... looks crappy.

Late 70's Pontiac Sunbird in pea green with tan landau top and rally wheels... in pristine condition. Nice survivor.

Eight Miatas in a row drove past me going the other way today.

Also saw what was probably a Chevelle.

And there are some Solstices in town. 8)

3 Avengers (in one day): light blue SXT, dark blue R/T, and an inferno red SXT

a black MKX

a buttload of Edges (they are everywhere!)

a black Nitro R/T

a gray Aura

Saw a Chrysler TC the other day. First time I've noticed one.

Went to a car show today. Among the more notable entries: Chrysler TC and a 1969 Yenko S/C Camaro with 29.3 original miles. Holy hell was it beautiful.

Forgot to mention, saw a Cadillac Allante as well. Mistaken it for a Maserati.

i see one of those maybe a few times a year. the owner buys from our smallish paint, picture frame, wall paper store

a sky

outlook

acadia

more and more T900s

Interesting... I haven't seen any "memorable" cars lately, except for the Ferraris/Maseratis on display near at the Lisbon Ritz galleries (there's a black Dodge Viper on display there as well)...

I heard/saw the after effects of a semi running into the overpass above a viaduct.

'08 Taurus SEL AWD in white with tan/black leather on the lot. Chrome wheels. $30k. I like the interior upgrades.

Sky Redline (my first Sky), Buick Enclave (my first, but didn't get a chance to look at it), and a Nova... with what looked to be 15"+ wide rear tires. Crazy.

I saw something that strongly resembled a corpse wrapped in a burlap bag on the Beltway this afternoon. :yikes:

Other less morbid sightings:

dark blue '08 Taurus Limited (not bad)

new Amanti in silver

my dream S2000, New Formula Red with the 10-spoke rims

an unknown Ferrari driving through one of the lower-rent parts of Metro DC

topped off by a new Silverado 2500HD 4x4 LTZ crew cab with the Duramax/Allison combo in Stealth Grey (or whatever Chevy's equivalent to that is). It positively towered over everything else on the road.

A Cocoa Enclave at one of the 8 Buick dealerships we've visited in the past week or so...

... it's now in our driveway!!! :)

Let me drive it!!!!!

Pictures will have to wait until next week, until I get back from San Diego.

I took it around the block for a quick spin and... It's noticeably quiet over bumps, usually just a muted thump is heard. I didn't push the engine, but it moves fine for the vehicle's size and I really had to stare at the tach to notice shifts. Sitting in the driver's seat is awesome, the inset, backlit gauges are sweet and the entire layout (with wood and aluminum accents) is very pleasing to the eyes. I want my mom to break it in so I can take it out and drive it a little harder!

And... you can come all the way to So Cal to drive it, but I'm sure you can get a test drive if you're willing to waste some time with the bozos at the dealership!

1911 Stanley Steamer with Virginia Plates. I took a pic with my cell phone, just need to get it to my computer. It had a bronze oval emblem that said FART (I swear) on the back fender.

'64 T-bird

'75 Ford Maverick

'66 Impala

'70 Challenger R/T

'70s Toyota truck...probably the oldest Toyota I've ever seen

'87 Plymouth Gran Fury (I don't know why but I really like the M-body Chryslers....Gran Fury, Diplomat, and Fifth Avenue)

Buick Enclave. It's nice.

Also saw a Ford Contour SVT for sale. Hmm...

Last night at the Wawa I saw a '66 Impala SS convertible. Super clean in red with a white top and original SS hubcaps. It was being driven by a lady who appeared to be in her 60s at least.

It pulled out of the lot just as a storm started to hit.

Made my road trip today. Saw the following:

Altima Coupe

Durango MCE (I think)

GMC Typhoon

Not 30 minutes after spotting the Typhoon I've ever seen in my life, a lime green Lamborghini Murcielago with black rims and blacked out tail lamps drove past, followed immediately by a charcoal grey Lamborghini Gallardo. I was able to keep up long enough to admire both vehicles, and roll down my window to listen to the engines.

I was driving around L.A. today. Saw a yellow Ferrari F430 on the Harbor Freeway and a gray Bentley Flying Spur in Monterey Park.

I saw my first and second Enclave on the road today. Both CXL's one silver and one in the metallic bronze/brown color.

I ran accross a Cadillac and La Salle car club, and saw a couple Sedan de Villes from the early 60's, an old Eldorado and some other really coold old Cadillacs and a La Salle.

Later on in the day I saw a Ron Fellows edition Z06 parked outside a Porsche dealership.

Mazdaspeed6--I want it, very very badly

Enclave--My brother-in-law wants to replace the Rendezvous with it

Acadia--Bro-in-law wouldn't mind picking this up to replace the 'Vous

An Audi A4 1.8T Quattro for sale... Ooh, I want it.

Last-gen Regal GS in green with bright yellow painted brake calipers, horsepower-enhancing stickers, and one of those aluminum wings.
  • 4 weeks later...

Had a couple tires put on at a shop that just happened to be next door to the Mazaratti/Bentley/Ferrari/Lamborghini dealer:
