June 5, 200718 yr Friend just bought a car... I found a 2000 titanium silver 328ci for 15000 before tax. It’s an auto, and it has some issues. I test drove it, and it drives fine, but the side marker light on one side is broken, the BMW badge is a little worn, and there’s a full size spare on the back right side. The ABS warning light is on, as well as the traction control light, and the speedometer doesn’t work. I included in writing in the purchase agreement that the dealer would fix the light, the tire, and all the warning lights. I forgot to include the speedometer, and I’ll call him today and get him to fax over an agreement to fix this too. I put a 1000 deposit through my credit card, but I guess I can always chargeback, hopefully. It’s a nice car…I’d prefer standard, but I couldn’t find one.
June 5, 200718 yr No! I found many 02s and 03s for about 18k-22k with low miles, but they were 330ci's. The newer ones are alot cheaper for insurance too. They were in very good condition.
June 5, 200718 yr For what it's worth an auto HURTS a BMW's resale. It's an oxymoron to have a 3-series slushbox. Edited June 5, 200718 yr by Sixty8panther
