June 6, 200718 yr Has anyone else read Lee Iacocca's new book? Like his previous 2 books I found it to be very interesting.
June 6, 200718 yr Brougham Holiday: You like those 3800s more than I do, it seems! On the subject, I took an evening MBA course that dealt with leadership and ethics. Lee Iacocca DID NOT make it as one of the excellent leaders in the history of corporate America. They thought so, initially, but he had no "staying power" in that he sold out....some investment decisions and such that were based on ego and personal interest (sports cars, wineries, etc.) rather than being complementary to Chrysler's best interests.

June 12, 200718 yr Author The 3800 has been good to me! Ive read his other books as well, I dont read them for the leadership ideas, I read them for his stories about his many years in the car business. Although this latest book was mostly about leadership it did have a few chapters about Chrysler that I found very interesting and that made the book worth reading. Am I the only one here who read it!
