June 9, 200718 yr Nice. I like the lack of blatant boy-racer trim for the M3. Subtle rear spoiler, that's what I like. The engine on the dyno, wow, that exhaust manifold looks like a pile of intestines. An encouraging sign: I understand BMW is doing away with the dreaded, obtuse I-drive controller. The BMW that will be significant to me will be the 1-series coupe. Small, comparatively affordable, and supposedly essentially fun to drive, it could be the one I switch for. The 1-series formula is brilliant, imo, a Formula that Pontiac should copy at a lower price point for a slot in their upcoming lineup.

Would you consider a convertible 1-series BMW? June 9, 200718 yr What's with the $499 rear body kit? Huh? What's with the trunklid not matching the rear quarter panels. Looks like it comes from another car.
June 9, 200718 yr Photos don't do the new BMW 3-Series coupe justice. It's a beautiful car in the flesh, especially in white. Great surface details, perfect proportions. Looks good in motion, it always turns my head.
June 10, 200718 yr I can understand being into the performance aspect of this car.... but looks wise, I have never understood why you guys blow your loads over it. Put a diesel in it and it's just another Paris taxi.
June 10, 200718 yr great car, i'm sure....that said, i am extremely bored, sick and tired of BMW. the bangle design thing is so over and is tired.
June 10, 200718 yr Oh, I do not like the current 7 or the 5. The Z4 I like, and this new 3. The 1 looks promising, even with its "surprised" headlights. Bangle is improving with each successive design, for the most part. Still, I wonder how history will judge Bangle-era BMWs.
