October 4, 200520 yr That's definetly a chop based on the Opel Insignia concept of a couple years ago. It could be accurate, but I'm not so sure it is. Notice the similarity in the rear to the next ION, just like AH-HA said a while ago. I can't find the exact base pic they used, but this is pretty close:
October 4, 200520 yr German Car Fans This appears unchanged from the artist rendering of some months back (above link). Word was the program was cancelled in favour of the SUV-type vehicle. Where did this new photo/chop come from?
October 4, 200520 yr The pics seem to have no relation at all to the vehicle discussed in the article - an R-Class type MPV mentioned months ago by Automotive News. "Fullsize" should be taken in a European context, not an American one, however. Edited October 4, 200520 yr by thegriffon
October 4, 200520 yr Beautiful vehicle whatever they call or do with it. It would make a great top of the line Saturn model.
October 7, 200520 yr Can that be the Buick Invicta? [post="23621"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] I wish. But it'll we'll most likely see a Saab badged lux version in the states... my question is, where does that leave Saturn. Do they get a version here too? I always loved that concept.
October 7, 200520 yr I doubt you'll see anything like this at all on a rwd platform. (Obviously the next Ion and probably the next Vectra and then Aura will follow this design), or indeed any rwd Opel except the GT. Apply this styling to a fwd/awd crossover sport tourer like the swb R-Class and you have what they are talking about. The sedan body is a red herring.
