Look for a long bed version on a tow truck near you...Gee, how much do you think the longbed version will shake on Ford's proving ground??? Hell the damned thing might FLY!

The Avalanche has done all that for years - and with a better ride.

Gosh, I'm just thinking back to all those times I needed a DVD player in my rugged, outdoorsy fullsize pickup...I mean, what will the family do without it?

Brian's point, though, was still best. (Which is why I think Chrysler's new vans are gonna absolutely clean up against the much more expensive competition.)

If GM offered an extended cab with only a short pick-up truck bed, Edmunds would call it a half-assed attempt by GM and that the company just doesn't get it anymore. When Toyota does it and hints that there might be a full bed sometime in the future, it's called a serious threat to everyone. Could this have been anymore of an advertisement for the Tundra or what?

Uh, you know what would better suit a family...a f@#king van.

Vans of that sort are better suited for starting families. You're probably thinking of a passenger van, or a minivan. :duck:
