In honor of my 1969 Pontiac turning 38 today, I am using this sig for 1 week in celebration. The Custom-S was built 6/13/69, and yes that was Friday the 13th. Muhahahahahaha

She was bought by my father at Jim Harrell Pontiac, 3800 W Hillsborough Ave, Tampa, FL 33614 six weeks later for 3K loaded, today she is priceless to me. She has a 350 engine with an Automatic trans. I may be burried in her when that time comes. Don't you all smile at once! :P

Happy Birthday, to my 1st car, which is still with me today!

Harrell Pontiac was that one with the big sombero-looking building with giant vertically-oriented PONTIAC lettering, right? I remember seeing it from Dale Mabry when I was younger and I'm sad to tell you its now Courtesy Nissan with Stadium Toyota directly to the south.

You've wounded me deeply Sir! Oh the Humanity! :cussing:

I have the feeling that there won't be any Nissans originating at that address being treasured by their owners 38 years later. :AH-HA_wink:

Hey, P-C-S, my Dad had one of those, the following year though, 1970.

It had the Chevy inline 250 6 cyl with so much room in the engine compartment that one could have a picnic in there. It was a metallic aqua color with black vinyl seats and it was known as the dog's car because she could ride it and not in our newer cars with cloth.

Someone had told my Dad Pontiac's were crap and he bought into it. We had it for at least 15 years, as a second or third car. Then he had impeccable service from that car and changed his mind.

It will be a long time until your burial, I hope. LOL.

Congrats on the C-S's 38th birthday, Sir.

Wow 38 years old and still going strong...congrats

When do we get to see photos of your very own Custom-S, Custom-S?

Exactly! We're hoping to see some pics of the Custom-S, PCS ;)

Congrats on the car's anniversary/birthday!

Sometimes I miss my first car... my '84 Ford Escort diesel. 5drs, 5spd, 52 screaming horsepower.. :)

I still have my first new car, my '87 Mustang GT, though.

Hmmmmmm, like this?

Interesting.. sharp car. I thought it was silver w/ custom wheels (the pic you had in your sig a while back..

Nope, I used that pic because it went better with the colors of the sig I was making. I took this blue car from the actual brochure drawlings that Pontiac used for 1969. I also have the original sticker for my car.

A sweet little lady. Thanks for posting.

Don't worry, now that I've seen some pictures I can stand by my statement, whether diplomatic or not! :P

Lord... :AH-HA_wink:
