So, does anyone know who makes this wheel?

Saw these at the Lansdale show and I want them for project Camino. The wheel center said "intro" on it, I think.

I don't want to state the obvious and sound like an A-Hole, but why didn't stay around and ask the owner? Hmmmmm, young man?

I *believe* those or a version of those are made by Sprewell racing, but it looks like his site is motorcycles only.

They remind me of the Sprewell Camaro:

But then for some reason, I'm thinking Pacer as well. Pacer is part of a bigger company that I can't think of at the moment.

The owner was AWOL.

Maybe American Racing?

I don't think so, I have looked at their lineup a few times and not seen this wheel. The one FOG posted is close and looks great, but I think it is different as well.

Hmm...well I'm just throwing out ideas...here's a long shot, maybe Foose or Coddington?

Hey Camino...I did some searching and I found these on Coddington's site...they aren't an exact match, but seem close enough to be a start as to tracking the style you want down.

Thanks Delta, but I found them. See my post above your last two for the link.

Edit: I think they will look better on the Camino than on any of their example cars on that site.

Now, all I need is a chop. 8)

No problem Camino...btw those actually look different too...The one's on the Chevy don't have any identifying logo...however the actual two tone of the wheel seems different. Are you sure it's the same?

  • Author

They're the same, in real life the logo is very faint and hard to see.

The "two-tone" is just a rough, aluminum finish vs. a polished one. I am thinking of using one, or both of the colors of the Camino in the "rough" area of the wheels.

That actually sounds like an interesting idea, how is the Camino coming along, and did you decide on a color scheme?

  • Author

The Camino is waiting for me to finish the wagon, but the color scheme will be GTO Brazen Orange Metallic with a pearl white and a light wood bed with stainless strips.

Sounds sweet....and from what I remember, it sounds like a variation of the original colors on it.

Exactly.
