June 24, 200718 yr Nice exhibit. Too bad none of the cars matched a particular guitar, and vice versa. That would have been neat. Anyway, I would like to sync up this guitar and car someday as a project ... ... A 1966 Olds Toronado and a 2004 Fender Toronado Standard. I also plan on having a Strat or a Les Paul that will sync up to the S10 (in color and other matching details) when I finish it someday. Also, quick fact, Fender and Gibson both used DuPont-sourced GM paint on their early guitars for years. If I can find a certain link, I can show which Fender/Gibson color links up with which color GM painted Pontiacs a certain few years, etc. Edited June 24, 200718 yr by YellowJacket894
June 24, 200718 yr I love that they used the body for both a guitar and a bass. Although, I sense those would be very uncomfortable to play. Any Mustangs down there? Nothing seems to fit the rock image quite like your typical Mustang.
June 24, 200718 yr Author Yeah, they had a Mustang that was (is?) owned by Bob Seger. I love that they used the body for both a guitar and a bass. June 24, 200718 yr Author You dont recognize the '51 Merc as the one from the Panama video? (Although the display says its from the California Girls video.) I guess I also forgot to mention that Cadzilla was also there, but they had someone sitting there to stop you from taking pics of it (same with Elvis's Pantera). The first two pictures totally rock.
June 24, 200718 yr Was this the Ford hot rod that DLR drove away in at the end of the "Hot for Teacher" video? Yep, it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSdCPUoMAmQ Edited June 24, 200718 yr by mustang84
