Forth, the new album from The Verve.

'Appalachian Springs' by the Verve. Really liking the new album...next up, 'Love is Noise' also from Forth.

Hex by Bark Psychosis. The middle of the night is a great time for ambient.

Pink Floyd-Comfortably Numb (live) @ Live 8

White Zombie, Astro-creep:2000

specifically... the song "I, Zombie" just ended & I'm listening to

the porn girl moans in the intro to "More HUman Than Human"

Flobots - No Handlebars

Great song, not sure of the politics behind it but it grew

on me instantly when I heard it a couple months ago.

Funny thingn is I have not heard it in weeks but it was

stuck in my head this AM as I set it as my alarm clock

ono my cell phone... it was going on and on in my head

this (EARLY) morning untill finally while loading UPS

trucks I yelled over to my co-worker to my left:

"I can end the world in a HOLOCAUST!"

Thought I'd get a blank/worried stare but he just picked

it up and started singing it... :P

Pink Floyd-Time

One of the 1st-to-last track consistantly great, classic rock albums: Let There Be Rock - AC/DC.

I've had ...And Justice For All playing a lot in my car lately.

But right now, I'm listening to Marvin Gaye's version of the Star Spangled Banner.

Sexiest. Anthem. Ever.

Ambient 1: Music for Airports-Brian Eno
The Rising-Bruce Springsteen

Terminal Frost - Pink Floyd (off the "Momentary Lapse of Reason" album, 1987)

Pink Floyd-Young Lust

Fleetwood Mac -Oh Well

Death f'in Magnetic! This album kicks ass!

Picked it up yesterday, can't wait to play it on my drives between Los Angeles and San Diego so I can listen to it in its entirety.

A Momentary Lapse of Reason, The Division Bell, The Wall, Wish You Were Here, and Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd are on rotation in the CD changer this afternoon....playing through 2000 watts of glorious 5.1 surround sound...happy happy joy joy

Gift of Screws, the new album from Lindsey Buckingham. Liking it alot, some great guitar noodling on it..

"Down In It" - Nine Inch Nails

I've been listening to a lot of NIN lately. It's almost becoming something of a problem.

Well... my current playlist sucks. I'm currently trying to find something worth listening to. I suppose this happens when you put every song you have on shuffle. I'll list some of the notables as I search.

"Whiskey Lullaby" - Brad Praisley

"Alive" - P.O.D.

"I Hate Everything About You" - Three Days Grace

"Brainstew" - Green Day

"In Bloom" - Nirvana

"Hair of The Dog" - Nazareth

"So Cold" - Breaking Benjamin

"Apologize" - One Republic

"I Kissed A Girl" - Katy Perry

"Scars" Papa Roach

"Somebody Someone" - KoRn

"Closer" - Nine Inch Nails

"What I've Done" - Linkin Park

"Dream On" - Aerosmith

"Sexyback" - Justin Timberlake

"Here In Your Arms" - Hellogoodbye

Like a Rock - Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band

Yearning for old Chevy Truck commercials?

I've been listening to a lot of INXS lately. I dont know why.

Live and Learn - Crush 40

Did Crush 40 have music in Sonic Heros?

Did Crush 40 have music in Sonic Heros?

They've been in a bunch of the Sonic games. Their singer was in a hard-rock/hair-metal band called Hardline. Awesome melodic-rock.

The Unforgiven III - Metallica

Last 5...

Like a Stone - Audioslave

Riot - Three Days Grace

Serj Tankian - Blue

Today - Smashing Pumpkins

Trampled Under Feet - Led Zeppelin

Via youtube, I've been checking into Hank Williams III this past week. He does a pretty unusual show; 1 part country, 1 part 'hellbilly', 1 part punk/metal. Seems he started out in a punk band or 2 but wasn't getting anywhere, so he started billing himself under his given name. Thing of it is, he's a great songwriter and has an uncanny resemblence (physically & vocally) with Hank I (weird how the likeness/voice jumped right over Hank II to him), but with a truckload more attitude. This guy could really become iconic down the road- something about him reminds me of Johnny Cash; plowing his own road and giving the finger to Nashville. I don't usually care for country... but maybe the reason is most of it sucks.

I Alone - Live

Last CD I just played at work few hours ago:

"AstroCreep 2000" by White Zombie. (instant classic for those in the Nintendo Generation)
