I'm Afraid of Americans- David Bowie (appropriate song for election day)

next up--

The Downward Spiral-Nine Inch Nails (quite appropriate for after election day--cheerful and forward looking)

'Through Tears of Joy' by Orchestra Lunatica.. very cool post-rock instrumental in a similar style to Sigur Ros or Explosions in the Sky...great chill out music...this track was probably the best part of the movie 'The Losers', besides Zoe Saldana (she is so hot).

How these dudes didn't get famous in the States during the eighties remains a great Canadian mystery.

Silent Lucidity then Operation Mindcrime, Queensryche

Lux Aeterna by Clint Mansell. Mansell (of Pop Will Eat Itself) is on of my favorite movie music composers..really liked his soundtrack for 'Smokin' Aces' and 'Requiem for a Dream' (which this track is from). I first discovered this track through a sample in the track 'Zoo York' off Paul Oakenfold's 'Bunkka'...

It is Friday...I've got that silly, catchy pop song Friday stuck in my head after watching the video cover of it by Stephen Colbert/Jimmy Fallon/Taylor Hicks. (I wonder how a Slipknot cover of this song would sound?)

This is freakin' brilliant, IMO...just a lot of fun.

Keiko Matsu Jazz Musician

Best thing about here is she came here, studied for a number of years and went back to Japan and then started to turn out some of the most amazing music.
