August 5, 200718 yr Betrayed - Avenged Sevenfold I'm kinda surprised I like them...they're heavier than the other stuff I listen to.
August 8, 200718 yr Brecker Brothers - Funky Sea, Funky Dew http://youtube.com/watch?v=6hiVxmJFBxE http://youtube.com/watch?v=NXEDBtIIogY Hardcore.

August 12, 200718 yr BAD ENGLISH both cd's. Bad English was very underappreciated IMHO I actually preferred Hardline. That's when Neil Schon really got to show the world how he can play. Van Halen - 5150
August 12, 200718 yr I actually preferred Hardline. That's when Neil Schon really got to show the world how he can play. Van Halen - 5150 I THINK I HAVE THE HARDLINE CD, BUT HAVE NEVER LISTENED TO IT. I'LL HAVE TO DIG IT OUT.
August 12, 200718 yr I have both Bad English and Backlash...pretty good discs, definitely ballad rock but a nice change of pace sometimes. I've never heard anything by Hardline though...what's a good album(s) by them? I just got done listening to Animal by Rogue Male. They were a UK hard rock band that were supposed to be the "next big thing" but quietly faded away after their second album. They almost sound like a hard rock version of the Clash.
August 19, 200718 yr "Self Destructive Pattern" - Spineshank Boring nu-metal with a so-so sound. But, hey, I'm pulling a bunch of old mp3s out of mothballs on my computer so don't hate.
August 21, 200718 yr Bulgarian Women's Choir - Dragana I Slavei [Dragna and the Nightingale] You just can't beat Slavic women singing to you!
August 22, 200718 yr The first six minutes of "Free Bird" - over and over again. Trying to pass it on Guitar Hero on Expert, its the only song left and it's going to kill me. The intro lulls you into submission and then the insane solo comes and shoves the stars and bars up... there.
August 22, 200718 yr I bought Winger IV...after about four listens I'm really beginning to like it. The first time I listened to it I was regretting the purchase and thinking I should've just waited to buy a used copy, but after each one I began to like it more and more. The sound is a lot different (much heavier than old Winger), but the lyrics really grab you. Overall: 4/5 Edited August 22, 200718 yr by mustang84

The intro lulls you into submission and then the insane solo comes and shoves the stars and bars up... there. Correction... Done! The whole thing! WOOT! listening: Radiohead - Lucky. Unlike most Radiohead fans, I've always liked OK Computer better than The Bends. Can't believe OK Computer is over 10 years old now.
August 24, 200718 yr We Are One - Buckehead feat. Serj Tankian.Just listened to this on Buckethead's MySpace. Really odd, but quite good.
August 24, 200718 yr Roulette - System of a Down.ps. vipes, Serj turns 40 this week.Your hero's OLD! Time to pick a new one! :AH-HA_wink:
August 24, 200718 yr Ass Over Snatch--Anal #### (not really, I just lke saying it) Rebirth of Slick--Digable Planets
August 24, 200718 yr Anybody else pick up the new Smashing Pumpkins? It's pretty good. My only major complaint is that they compressed the sound WAY too much. It's a trend in recording now to make the music as loud as possible, which compresses the peaks and sounds bad when you turn it up. I love turning up loud music in my Cobalt because of the sound system, but that album I keep fairly low. Billy Talent*, on the other hand, is recorded very well with minimal compression so it sounds GREAT when you turn it up. * cue teh bitching...
August 25, 200718 yr I bought Winger IV...after about four listens I'm really beginning to like it. The first time I listened to it I was regretting the purchase and thinking I should've just waited to buy a used copy, but after each one I began to like it more and more. The sound is a lot different (much heavier than old Winger), but the lyrics really grab you. Overall: 4/5 Cool. Now, I'm patiently waiting for Winger V. Dokken - The Hunter.
August 25, 200718 yr Author The Official Soundtrack for Rob Zombie's "Halloween"-track 12, Bachman-Turner Overdrive- Let It Ride
August 30, 200718 yr Machine Gun - Warrant I came across a cop of 'Dog Eat Dog' , so I figured I might as well buy it. I'm actually pretty pleased with it. It certainly sounds better, and more mature than that crap-fest 'Cherry Pie' .
