ATLANTA, GA - Gaywheels.com, the sole source of information specifically targeted to and about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) car-shoppers, today announced its list of the Top 10 Most-Researched Vehicles during the second quarter of 2007. For the fourth straight quarter, the entry-level Toyota Yaris maintained the top position, while for the first time ever, a Nissan product, the Infiniti-branded FX sport-utility vehicle, joined the list.

Gaywheels.com Top 10 Most Researched Vehicles -April - June, 2007

1. Toyota Yaris
2. Saab 9-3 (sedan and convertible)
3. Mazda MX-5
4. Volkswagen Jetta
5. VW EOS
6. Dodge Caliber
7. Toyota Camry
8. Audi A3
9. VW Rabbit
10. Infiniti FX

The only surprising one is the Dodge Caliber. The Camry, too. Otherwise, seems pretty accurate. :D

Do.... LGBT shoppers look for features or treatments in their vehicles unavailable elsewhere? Are there special deals involved for the LGBT buyer ('May I see your gay card, please?')? Is there any tangible difference in the vehicles involved whatsoever??

Then how, may I naively ask, could one's sexual orientation play any tangible part in car shopping? Unless this ALSO involves some sort of dating service, I don't get the neccesity of the association.

2. Saab 9-3 (sedan and convertible)

3. Mazda MX-5

4. Volkswagen Jetta

8. Audi A3

9. VW Rabbit

10. Infiniti FX

Lol. Except for the Camry/Yaris, I like a lot of those!

What??? Sky gave away to Yaris and Crapry???

If I remember correctly Sky was in the top 3 of the LGBT list for for most favorite cars of 2006.

Looks like BMW lost a lot of their gay audience during the switch from the e46 to the e90.

Shame on you, my brothers, for sticking a Yaris and a Camry on that list. I can see a lot of women choosing a Caliber. I'm surprised at the lack of Subarus, given their historic support for the community. As ever, The VW/Audi presence is not surprising.

Proving that Bimmers used to be tasteful.

eh or less imposing/masculine

I am so incredibly amused that 9/10 cars on that list are imports.
