beautiful. one of the most beautiful GMs ever produced.

i guess it has a limp home mode just like the northstars. if you lose coolant, you can still drive it home.

i'll be able to take pics of it this weekend.

nope, 3 speed. 1st gear no synchro. my dad said the one he had back in 60-something was a four speed, but he said this one is only a 3. unless he is clueless...?

Your dad is right, reg. 3 and 4 speed manuals were available on Corvairs in '65.

I saw a Corvair on the way to work today, actually. I saw it drive by and thought of you and your Dad right away. This one wasn't a convertible, tho it was red!
