July 29, 200718 yr A gem of a transportation museum in Wetaskwin, Alberta, Canada, not far from Edmonton. It's very interactive, with streetscapes, drive-in theaters, avaiation museum on site etc. http://www.machinemuseum.net/index.htm Edited July 29, 200718 yr by HarleyEarl
July 29, 200718 yr Author Very cool, yes. In fact there is a viewing lounge and you can watch them restore the Nomad and other cars and trucks, they often have many projects on the go. Facinating stuff. It's like I'm in heaven when I checkout places like this, celebrating car culture. They have a great automotive/machinery library and giftstore as well....it makes for a perfect day.
July 29, 200718 yr I read in the paper a couple of weeks ago that all those cars in their garage that haven't seen the light of day since restoration are going on display in a big tent this summer... I wish I could go up and see it but I'm just swamped recently.
July 30, 200718 yr Author I definitely have to take that in. There's an appeal to seeing these vehicles in their original state. I understand Reynolds Museum has a huge collection that the public never sees.
