August 28, 200718 yr Isn't the corporate structure different now from when they were Daimler-Benz AG? Isn't Mercedes-Benz a division within DCX just like the Chrysler Group? Overall though, I think this is for the best. Under 'Daimler AG', they'll be able to make future acquisitions without "Benz" being directly mentioned or associated.
August 29, 200718 yr Goodbye, Daimler. Thanks for giving a damaged car company back to us. Chrysler was building up momentum and finally moving past their "K car" phase when you came along and totally derailed this once proud American company. I could care less what you call yourself as long as you stay far away from any more U.S. car companies.
