I still love the Solstice, I'd buy the Solstice if I was in the market.

So funny how many of you flavor-of-the-week types are not

impressed or thrilled with the Solstice but you were all goo-goo

& ga-ga over it when it was just a twinke in GM's eye.

As far as 2007 designs go the Pontiac Solstice is one of the best.

I remember saying from the beginning that the Sky looked better, and the front of the Solstice looked like a beaver.

I love, love love the old stuff but I was born in 65. I've been literally looking at the old stuff my whole life. Just really excited that Pontiac seems to be on the right track.

In major lust over a red 69 Firebird that is parked regularly where my wife works, so don't worry, I haven't loost my mind.

Problem with the Fiero is that you have to get the last year of prod. to get the suspension goodies and the V-6.

Later Firebirds, the 77-78 was an under-appreciated design.

I do believe pricing has and continues to be a problem. When it was first introduced GM said you can but a Solstice for under $20,000. Of course that was the stripper model that the dealers then added their "markup" prices. The dealer in my neighborhood has a couple of the GXP in stock and with their markup, they are asking.....$41,000. Yes it is a GXP and not a stripper, but still customers will get sticker shock when they see $41,000 foe a Solstice. I suspect they immediately write off purchasing the Solstice and move on to the next car on their short list. Dealers need to get a grip on the situation and be reasonable with the markups. This is shades of the 2004 GTO all over again.

They all have chrome. I did get the chrome wheels though.

Actually the Corvair was a brilliant design also.

Methinks if I am not wrong that the last Corvair built is Gold with a black top and in private hands...one of the last GM cars where the last one built is in private hands.

Seems to me like I saw it advertised in hemmings awhile back.
