This guy comes into our dealership today to look at the Silverado 2500

that we have in the 2nd floor showroom, he's ben in before. His daily

driver is a 2006 Aveo-5, stick and he's always bragging about getting

about 37mpg real world... the thing is he always leaves it idiling for long

periods of time while he looks at trucks, get a brochure from the

showroom or whatever.

Today he was in the showroom for a good 18-20 minutes while his little

Aveo was left, door ajar... running with the AC full blast & the radiator

fan kicking in and out constantly.

Kind of funny if you ask me. Like the chian smoking Prius driver that I

always see blowing nasty carcenogenic gray smokoe out of his window

while holding a Marlboro in his left hand. So much for low emissions. :P

Wierd...

Speaking of gas mileage,

I saw a Prius today with a bumper sticker that said '50 MPG' and other writing I couldn't read.. I'd like to have a similar sticker for my Jeep that says '18 MPG'.. :)

I'd like one that says '8 MPG' for my LeSabre.

Or, "I support higher fuel economy mandates. More gas for me."

I want to see if the following license plate is available at the Motor Vehicle Dept. for my Custom-S. "7 MPG"!

idk... If I was going to get vanity plates they'd say NCC1701 or 737-200 or something nerdy.

There's a big land yacht around here... some '70 Lincoln or something that has a

vanity plate pronouncing its 7mpg or something like that. I have been thinking

for a while that I should make a 9-MPG front plate for the '71 SDV but that would

be quite optimistic, beleive it or not.

(XP you out there today...? you'd remember what it was)

Unfortunately, the coolest, geekiest vanity plate is already taken in my state.. 'GEEKSTA'. Wish I'd gotten it myself.

I was just gonna say I want one that says "1337"! :P

I saw a C6 once that said "sweet" for the vanity plate.

I guess I'm lucky getting 17 city 27 highway with my beast...

You guys are boring. I was going to get a license plate that said: FACCHIÙ

Bellissimo Paolino! I wonder how many people would understand that one!

Grazie :AH-HA_wink: I guess as an Italian teacher, I shouldn't get it. Especially since in the first week I start teaching them the sounds of the letters. LOL
