At least someone gets the Aura Hybrid. C&D wanted to wipe their asses with this car when it went up against the Altima and Camry hybrids.

I think the title was 'modern', not 1990s.. :)

To me post-WWII is contemporary & post-1987 is modern. :)

Since we're on the topic, I love that new Hybrid emblem, very snazzy.

It looks more upscale and refined than the Toyopet "~H"

If the Aura is 'What a modern American Car Should Be' , then I think I'm going to buy used.

but you can buy a lot of those compact fluorescent lightbulbs for $4,700, maybe some new windows for your house, maybe a new furnace, a new set of high efficiency appliances, a new electric lawnmower ...
