March 24, 200817 yr i used to not like the early second gens, now i absolutley love them.... cant say the same about the 74-81's yet... awesome shots though! The '75-'81s are my second least favorite Camaros, the Iron Dukes are my first. I know the wrap-around rear-window was supposed to be there from the start of the second-generation F-Body program design-wise (issues with installment), but it totally killed the looks of the car, as far as I'm concerned, when GM started building them with it.

March 24, 200817 yr Ooh-ooh! At first I thought it was a whole row of vintage Buicks, but not quite. In Cuba, no less!
March 24, 200817 yr Oh my ... some awesome new additions here. Love the eye candy ... keep 'em coming!!! Cort:34swm."Mr Monte Carlo.Mr Road Trip".pig valve&pacemaker WRMNshowcase.legos.HO.models.MCs.RTs.CHD = http://www.chevyasylum.com/cort "I'll be with you" ... Cheap Trick ... 'The Flame'
March 24, 200817 yr Ooh-ooh! At first I thought it was a whole row of vintage Buicks, but not quite. In Cuba, no less! As a German citizen I have no restrictions about entering/exiting Cuba, as long as I enter on my EU German passport. I have many pics of autos in Cuba. Mostly in color though.
March 24, 200817 yr Another reason I like Cuba, they have the Hottest Women on Earth and the Hottest GM 50's cars. Take a look at this Video of Mayra Veronica, playing with 1958 Chevy among others. :AH-HA_wink: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtZc8z-ELGI...ves/003675.html

March 28, 200817 yr Author I've never heard of this Mayra Veronica but she's hoooooooooooooot. Like a Mack truck with no brakes!!! (that's how I'd hit that)

April 3, 200817 yr I'll have to dredge up some of the old family B&W pics of cars and scan them for this thread.
April 4, 200817 yr Author Yes Camino, please do.... I've seen some of those photos and there's some very cool stuff there.
April 8, 200817 yr Author 1930 Cadillac V16 being flogged durring high speed testing, before it was stripped out in the guise of a '60s hot rod. Edited April 8, 200817 yr by Sixty8panther
April 8, 200817 yr I'm a big fan of B&W photography, great idea, 68. (also, for some reason when I post pics via ImageShack they always reduce in size....anyone know what I'm doing wrong?....never used to have problems with this)
April 8, 200817 yr I think the board may be set up to reduce them automatically, everything I've hosted there since the switch to our new hosting service has done that. I actually find it easier myself.
April 8, 200817 yr Attachments suck. Imageshack sucks. Photobucket, people. It's idiotproof. Here's a 1911 Packard for your consideration:

April 21, 200817 yr Yes Camino, please do.... I've seen some of those photos and there's some very cool stuff there. I swear I'll get to this as soon as I can - crazy busy right now.
April 22, 200817 yr Whoa, GM1, that's fantastically phallic there, bud. Sixty8, I like that ol' Impala coupe, but it looks like it's running rich, check the black stuff on the bumper above the tailpipe, and the car was only a few years old then. Ah, the good old days with carbureted engines...
April 24, 200817 yr What I wouldn't give to have a '30 Duesenberg. I'd probably sleep on the garage floor with my arms around it.
April 24, 200817 yr Author Those DOHC, 32-valve Supercharged High-rev-tuners of the early 1930s are pretty cool but I like to "get my 32-valves on" a different way... via Cadillac. No, I'm NOT talking about the 4.6 liter DOHC Northstar V8 powered modern Cadillacs. I'm talking about the ultimate in wheeled transportation: OHV 452 cu. in. V16 powered Cadillacs! Smoooooth like a extra milky chocolate bar from Lindt.
May 2, 200817 yr Author 1936 Chevrolet 1936 Pontiac 1936 Cadillac V16 fastback ---- 1936 was a great year for cars... that art deco era is just... it's like heaven on earth. The only thing cooler than the 1948-early 1970 era of hardtops is the 1929-1939 era of pre-war instant classics. Planned obsolescence never looked so good. Every year the cars were restyled/redesigned/recontoured/resculpted.... more aerodynamic, more fluid, wider, and then in the 1940s they all kind of lost it. The tall art-deco grilles of the mid 1930s is about Automotive pefection. Someday I'll save a rotted shell from the junkyard, cut down a 1996 B-body frame and make a mid 1930s hardtop using as many genuine pre-war parts as possible to make the ULTIMATE custom rat-rod. May 3, 200817 yr Here's a four door hardtop for Knightfan! *grins* You know what that IS, doncha? ...the concept MC sedan. I wish they had made the convertible from the factory ... some of the manuals/documentation reference how to raise and lower the convertible top.
