July 19, 200916 yr Author I'm using this desktop background in honor of the 40th anniversary of landing on the moon (July 20, 1969). You can also see the Lunar Rover, which was built by GM. At that time I was only 7 weeks old ... Click the full image, then when it comes up click the pic again to see it in it's full glory! Edited July 19, 200916 yr by PCS
August 7, 200916 yr Author I'm a bit of an Egyptophile, I like anything that has to do with Ancient Egypt, in total I've spent about 10 months there throughout my life. This Desktop background is in tribute to one culture I love ...
September 3, 200916 yr Clean and simplistic, just the way I like it. I love my RocketDock and my auto-hidden taskbar. Edited September 3, 200916 yr by whiteknight
September 11, 200916 yr I change wallpapers as often as I change my underwear. Here are my desktops from the past two days. After the reformat: Today: Also, you guys can't see it, but I now have a Windows 7 skin on XP rather than Slan2.0 like you see in the first screencap.
October 15, 200916 yr I got the Royal Noir theme to go with the blacked out Caprice... i put that one up when the site launched i have this at the moment... well actually this since probably feb i view of twin lakes in Alaska, close to the cabin of Dick Proenneke
October 19, 200916 yr what you got against them? they're iconic They belong on a dock so that you can actually look at your wallpaper.
November 7, 200916 yr I like that ... Thanks, it's my first attempt at a custom theme on Windows 7, I already had the wallpaper, just changed the taskbar to match and made use of the new pinning feature to clear up all the icons. On Vista my desktop was cluttered, I like this clean look.
November 18, 200916 yr This is at home. Very Cool! <img src="http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/7752/desktopwh.png" border="0" class="linked-image" /> And this one too...
November 19, 200916 yr That's it. It's simply a wallpaper uncluttered. All icons on an auto-hidden RocketDock, the taskbar is auto-hidden ... it doesn't get any cleaner and simpler than this. Enjoy your clutter.
March 4, 201016 yr $7/night accomodations in Beijing = decent $6/night accomodations in Nanjing = beautiful $14/night accomodations in Hong Kong (Kowloon) = Total $h! Hole HK is a totally different world economically from the rest of China. I wish we had known that when booking a place to stay.
March 4, 201016 yr I took this picture from a replay of one of my races. Didn't mean to catch so much air. Edited March 4, 201016 yr by the_yellow_dart
April 18, 201015 yr I always change it around with one picture or another that I took. This on my screen right now. Edited April 18, 201015 yr by RjION
August 6, 201015 yr That doesn't even fill up the screen you n00b. hahah.. does it have to? or are you jealous and making yourself feel better?
August 6, 201015 yr It's a personal thing...a pet peeve of mine when a desktop wallpaper doesn't fill the entire screen and leaves dead space, that and images that are smaller than the screen resolution and get stretched to fit, and get pixelated and distorted.
August 7, 201015 yr yes i hate distorted pics too. but i don't mind if it doesn't fill the entire screen. i just haven't found any/many 1080 wallpapers that i like. i also seem to like darker ones too.
August 7, 201015 yr laughing at all who don't have 2x 1080p. lol I don't need it. I'm happy with my 32 inches of goodness, instead. Sure, it's only 1360x768, but its huge!
August 21, 201015 yr I've downgraded, and upgraded. No longer with 32 inches of goodness. But I'm up to 1980x1080 resolution.... and back to Hong Kong. It's just so pretty.
February 9, 201115 yr I've downgraded, and upgraded. No longer with 32 inches of goodness. But I'm up to 1980x1080 resolution.... and back to Hong Kong. It's just so pretty. join the crowd... this is my background, but the larger size on wiki sized down to X x 1078 (close enough to 1080)
February 16, 201115 yr I do love artistic wheel pictures. Actually upgraded to dual screen monitors. Would be nice if the were both the same size or at least widescreen, but the price was right (free) and the extra working space is awesome. So 1440x900 for the main screen and 1280x1024 for the secondary one. It also means I can actually see and enjoy my many lovely wallpapers cycle through.
December 28, 201114 yr Too stupid to do a screen-shot (plus embarrassed by how many files are sitting on the desktop), but here's my desktop pic: Edited December 28, 201114 yr by NeonLX
