September 7, 200718 yr I spend a lot of time joking around with Chevy/GMC customers at work who have test driven the Tundra and mostly we agree it's a joke. I know a guy who until recently sold Toyotas new and said 90% of his customers who test drove threw him back the keys and it said: "Thanks, now I'm going to buy the Ford Chevy/GMC/"

I would much rather sell FORD/DODGE/GM than Toyota when it comes to trucks. Chris
September 9, 200718 yr Seriously, like I have said before here in the midwest amoung guys that actually use their trucks the TURD is a joke. I would much rather sell FORD/DODGE/GM than Toyota when it comes to trucks. Chris Yep, a good chunk of my mom's side of the family is in farming and the Tundra is a joke to them. All the '07 Tundras I have seen have been in shopping mall parking lots and driving down the freeway. A fat chrome grille and lots of horsepower won't cut it with these guys.
September 9, 200718 yr Author I knew it had been too long for FOG to go without a rant. I'll just remember the next time I see a local GM dealer offering tons of cash back or an extremely low monthly payment I should make a new thread about it, generalize that every vehicle must have those incentives on the hood, and complain about how I don't like it. LOL.. I haven't ranted about anything, (Obviously you were absent during my mod days) nor have I complained about anything. Guess I shouldn't come to a GM board and point out a problem with THE competing manufacturer; that's just too much for the import fanboys to take apparently. Oh well, rubbing the salt into the wound has been so much fun! Edited September 9, 200718 yr by FUTURE_OF_GM
September 10, 200718 yr You know how the Tundra looks to me? Like a fat ugly pig. That's what the Japanese think we are? Fat ugly pigs!
September 10, 200718 yr You know how the Tundra looks to me? Like a fat ugly pig. That's what the Japanese think we are? Fat ugly pigs! looks like a ram and a f150s love child to me. looks like a dodge coming at you and a ford going away from you. http://photos4.ebizautos.com/5775/2105000_2_400.jpg http://i9.ebayimg.com/03/i/000/ab/69/8f6a_12.JPG Edited September 10, 200718 yr by cletus8269

And what's with those bulbous taillights?
September 11, 200718 yr The crease in the rear mimics the shape of the grille. I don't care for this, nor the sculpting on the Silverado/Sierra's tailgates either. Bulgy taillights are another terrible styling trend. I think the last Silverado started it, and they were also on the Ram, Dakota, and last Tundra.

September 13, 200718 yr looks like a ram and a f150s love child to me. looks like a dodge coming at you and a ford going away from you.Except that the Ram doesn't look nearly as retarded.Seriously, I don't mind Toyota, I kinda like the Tacoma, but the Design on the Tundra is just seriously....
October 8, 200817 yr Wow, I do not think I ever watched the video until now.... (prob. would not open at work when this thread was new) Reg. the video: the F150 & Silverado seemed to do about the same, I honestly would not buy an F150 over a Siverado simply because knowing what I do about trucks GM makes the best damned one period. Let's not forget who pioneered hydro-forming! Now as far as the Tundra, EPIC_FAIL! What a turd, I hate Toyota & all but I have to admit, I was shocked at how bad the Tundra did.
