The Chevy bowtie in the Opel circle looks interesting, and there's even a blue bowtie in there.
Amazing Mexico is so close yet when it comes to what Chevy has they are so far.
Damn it I'd take a last gen. Astra in a heartbeat. They're awsome. Drove one as a rental in Slovakia for a month in 2001. The 5-speed was awsome wiht a light clutch, 1.6 liter did fine even up steep mountain roads with three passangers and a bumch of suitcases and thre interior made a 2001 Cavalier look like a 1974 Pinto in comparison. Why can't we get the Astra?

What's that SUV? There is a bowtie and the word "chevy" spelled on the back.

It's not an SUV, it's a subcompact (think Aveo hatchback). And, its name is the Chevrolet Chevy (hence the Chevy on the back).
No, no.... all Chevolet vehicles have "Chevy" badging on the back... I was in Toombstone once and saw a little Geo Metro meets ElCamino vehicle wiht a "CHEVY" emblem on the tailgate. It was kind of cute in a bizzare way. nothing shows up on google

Trust me, the car is named "Chevy"
Hmm..I wonder how much it would cost to have an Astra hatchback trucked up here to my front door? :)

It was a low end Astra. The Astra Elegance looks better but there wasn't one in the lot.
Chevy Tornado is sweet, but Griffon showed us that some time ago.
The car that's called simply "Chevy" in Mexico is the O/V Corsa with a different name. What irks me about all the Opelvrolets (sold from Mexico to Brazil to South Africa) is the ridiculous bowtie in a circle logo that kinda invokes the Opel bolt in a circle. You could easily make a morphong graphic that changes the two. It's as if the lines of both planes are parallel. But I can say that about Vauxhall's griffin and Holden's lion as well... Really, why not just free the bowtie from the circle and use a gold or blue bowtie like the 100% Chevys do? Not to mention, why do they go with Opels in some markets and Daewoos in others when thre are 100% Chevys in the same segments of a lot of those cars? Seems like it's best to kill the overlap. Keeping the older Opels alive is also kinda corny to me.
