September 28, 200718 yr Renault's Ghosn still sees tie-up with GM .Renault's CEO Carlos Ghosn said a tie-up with General Motors is not currently on the cards, but the 'strategy is inevitable in the long-term. Speaking in an interview with Le Figaro,Ghosn said conditions for a merger are not right at present time because there seems to be little appetite for it at GM. Renault and GM previously considered an alliance, but abandoned discussions last year. Edited September 28, 200718 yr by Toyota.vs.GM

September 28, 200718 yr thats funny, because GM doesnt see it... unless GM is gonna buy nissan straight out, i'm pretty sure GM is not interested in being ruled, nor will any scot while he lives....

Nissan better get their $h! together on the home front before they even begin thinking about merging with or aquiring another company.
September 29, 200718 yr Its been awhile since he's said anything, which would explain this statement...
