How cool is that! :pbjtime:

For Philly fans (I am one), this has been one crazy, exciting season the last month. In my house there's 2 Yankee fans, a Red Sox fan & me: so far we're all in!

1993???? Good night shirt tail ... I didn't realize it had been THAT long for the Phillies.... Let's see ... 1993 ... is that the year the Phillies lost to the Toronto Blue Jays in the World Series ... when former Cub Mitch Williams served up a home run to former Cub Joe Carter?

*shudders*

I didn't realize that had been that long ago already ... my goodness.

Either way ... CONGRATS :). Still shocking to see the NYM absolute COLLAPSE.

Yeah, the Mets were so dominant early on with just Tom Glavine and the Super Friends for a starting rotation. It seems they didn't know what to do with themselves once they got the regulars back. I'm a Yankee fan, but I don't hate the Mets (it's their fans that can get under my skin) and I wanted them to get in. Good for the Phils though. They're a storied franchise that has suffered for too long.

I see the Cubs made it. I think I'll try to find Steve Bartman and buy him tickets to a Cubs playoff game. :smilewide:

I am rooting for the Red Sox here. I can't STAND the Yankees.

Anyone else here hate the Yanks, too?

Edit: Oh, and :rotflmao: about the Mets. Too bad the Yanks didn't have the same fate too.

Yep, it's been that long!

Heh ... my how time flies, doesn't it?

Cubs and the Sox?

I can jump on that bandwagon. That would be a great series.
