The NZ6 wheel - is that a specialized steel wheel with a hubcap? That's wierd!

Must be something like the 5-spoke steel wheels on the Opel Astra. They tried to give the steel wheel an alloy wheel appearance.

The Saturn Aura , Pontiac G5 and G6 , the 08 Malibu also use the same type of 5-spoke steel wheel with an aluminum wheel looking cover with aluminum wheels being the upgrade .

Yea we've been seeing Cobalt SS prototypes with those 18 inch wheels all year. That's the only visible difference.

Anticipation builds... I want to see this thing.
So it is an 08 MY car. Question is when will it pop up? After SEMA?

When is this thing coming out? Should we be expecting an announcement soon?

Thanks for the post but there was no question it was coming.

It should be out sometime after AJnuary as I was told they have already trrained many at Lordstown how to work on them. I know a Dyno guy has driven one and said it was fantastic.

For a hubcap, that looks much better than the standard steel wheels that you can see under hubcaps elsewhere in the automaker. I hate hubcaps, but this isn't bad.
