October 11, 200718 yr Toyota FT-MV Concept The FT-MV makes its presence felt as a first-class, new-generation minivan. Boasts a bold, vibrant and stately exterior. Includes luxurious, second-row seats with fully automatic ottomans, using soft ambient lighting to create an elegant space.
October 11, 200718 yr Jesus... There are some UGLY concepts coming out of Tokyo. The only one I have remotely liked so far is that Nissan FWD car.
October 11, 200718 yr This is a near-production concept for the next Japanese-market luxury van (Alphard). Nissan had their concept in 2005. More photos at AutoReport.
October 14, 200718 yr It the next Alphard information and real pics gellery Toyota FT-MV to the next alphard
October 14, 200718 yr The interior is very nice. I like it. Except they put the steering wheel on the wrong side, those silly Japanese! The profile is nice for a minivan (after all, how many sleek shapes can you make out of a bread box?), but I don't like Toyota's recent styling trend on the noses of their vehicles. Too Mazdaish and Mazda does it better, IMO.
December 8, 200718 yr Looks very european, in a Renault, Citroen sort of way. With a little Mercedes Sprinter thrown in.
December 8, 200718 yr Some really good lines on this, too bad that they are ruined by the really bad ones. That prow of a nose is horrible, and the lower flanks are typical bloated Toyota.
December 8, 200718 yr Even for a minivan it is goofy looking. Kind of reminds me of a cowfish. THE AEROSTAR LIVES! lol, sad but true.
December 8, 200718 yr :rotflmao: why does the rear wheel look smaller than the front one? this thing is hilariously ugly... anyway... back to what i was originally doing... :rotflmao: Edited December 8, 200718 yr by 04monteintimidator
December 9, 200718 yr The fat butt makes it look like it is at full GVWR with no passengers. And yes, the side window treatment looks exactly like the late, unlamented Ford Aerostar.
December 13, 200718 yr Does this have anything to do with the new Sienna? I sure hope so, people will stay away in droves. . .
December 13, 200718 yr wow. this is just extreme ugly. some of the interior is ok, but mano, that outside is criminally bad.
June 16, 200817 yr They just keep getting fatter, blander, plainer and uglier at the same time. Amazing that Toyota is such a success in NA.

June 17, 200817 yr Grotesque. Schizophrenic: each styling element is off a different vehicle. None of it makes any clear sense. I hope & pray toyo brings it here exactly as is.
June 17, 200817 yr It's kind of cool..would make a nice Lexus minivan here....who knows, maybe the luxury minivan market will take off here in the post-SUV era..
June 17, 200817 yr That interior looks awesome. It's like a more compact conversion van... from the factory.
June 18, 200817 yr Grotesque. Schizophrenic: each styling element is off a different vehicle. None of it makes any clear sense. I hope & pray toyo brings it here exactly as is. Oh don;t worry... it will be uglier still and it will sell like crack in the hood.
June 18, 200817 yr It's kind of cool..would make a nice Lexus minivan here....who knows, maybe the luxury minivan market will take off here in the post-SUV era.. Dear God I hope not... but if it DOES I hope Honda makes an odyssey with a heart shaped rear window. The fact that they use '60s hippie & van culture images coupled with Heart's "Barracuda" disgusts me.
