October 13, 200520 yr If you have not seen the Oldsmobile Encyclopedia before chack it out, if you have it's stil worth a glance. Very cool stuff. :) http://encyclopedia.classicoldsmobile.com/index.html
October 13, 200520 yr Ahhh, memories... Ours was an '87. Still miss 'er, square exhaust tips and all. Here's another cool one that seems newer and (hopefully) will grow in the future Outright Oldsmobile!
October 13, 200520 yr Author 1990 Olds Toronado Trofeo One of the few cars I think SHOULD be FWD. After all it's a Toronado Tradition. Never been anything but FWD, althought too bad they had the 3800s mounted transversly. Edited October 13, 200520 yr by Sixty8panther
October 14, 200520 yr [post="28433"][/post] Way to have the last gen 88 and 98 coupes! They really are becoming hard to find already
October 17, 200520 yr Well I know the '90-'91 88 coupes were hard to find even when they were first released considering there was was around 2000 total made between the two years!
October 17, 200520 yr Seeing photos of the old Hs reminds me how I miss the full-size 2dr coupe bodystyle... I think a Coupe de Ville version of the new DTS would be great, as would have 2dr versions of the late G-bodies....(imagine a 2dr Bonneville GXP and a 2dr Park Avenue Ultra)..
October 18, 200520 yr I blame the death of Oldsmobile on the lackluster 1988 to 1997 Cutlass Supreme. Had it been at least half as popular as its predecessor, Oldsmobile would still be here today.

October 18, 200520 yr had nothing but trouble with my '85 98. nice looking car. plenty of compliments. great AM Stereo radio and the roughest idling v 6 ever. rough rough rough.
October 19, 200520 yr The DTS would make a beautiful coupe. They'd probably call it a CDTS though, creating more confusion. DTC... (the 'S' in DTS is sedan). STC for a STS coupe, CTC for a CTS coupe, etc..
October 19, 200520 yr Hey everyone, I'm the guy who runs/created Outright Olds - god, I've been here many times before, don't know why I never joined up! Just recently saw a bunch of people with the referer as C&G on my site stats, so I came over to see... Thanks for the reference!
