I'm using Firefox. I have up-to-date Windows Media Player, Quicktime, RealPlayer, Java, and Shockwave. It's a brand new computer. When I try to watch a video on the internet, it tells me to install a "missing" plug-in. I ask it to find the plug-in and it says I have all the plug-ins I need, but the video doesn't play. Uhh.. wtf?!
Check the site out for some instructions....does the error message tell you what plugin it needs? I know WMP doesn't come with the DivX plugin, which is usually used to extract movie files from DVDs. You have to install that one from www.divx.com
I somehow have the same problem, with pages that have wierd code that refuse to work with Firefox. My solution at the moment is to install IEView, which I add an option in my context menu to view the current page in IE.

I just downloaded DiVX and it didn't help.. My sister's computer runs the same videos I'm trying to look at. Mine doesn't. WTF. No it doesn't say the plug-in I need.. it says I already have all the plugins necessary.
