October 22, 200718 yr Hell has frozen over! There's a Citroën that I like! clicky I can hardly believe it's from the same company that sells the butt-ugly C6!
October 22, 200718 yr I don't mind the shape of it, but I still equate Citroens with 2CVs and 4CVs.... :AH-HA_wink:
October 23, 200718 yr Gorgeous. Keeps the creativity of previous French designs, but in a much more accessible package. Why can't GM be this creative!?!
October 23, 200718 yr I like it a lot...it's a great looking vehicle that has all of the personality of Citroën without the odd looks.
October 23, 200718 yr I am impressed. I normally don't care much for French designs, but this one is gorgeous. It has very balanced lines and looks sporty and elegant at the same time. I wish we could see it over here somehow. I think the sedan and wagon both look great.
October 28, 200718 yr I think it would be cool if Mitsubishi could sell a rebadged version of this car (both the sedan and wagon) over here to replace the current pitiful Galant. Citroen sells a rebadged version of the Outlander in Europe; Citroen could return the favor and let Mitsubishi sell rebadged C5 sedans and wagons in the U.S. If the recently revealed ZT concept sedan is any indication of the styling direction of the next Galant, then I would definitely rather see the C5 sold as a Mitsubishi midsize product. The only problem is what would Mitsubishi do for a Galant replacement in Europe? I doubt Citroen would let Mitsubishi sell a rebadged C5 in Europe to compete with its version.
October 28, 200718 yr Author I find it very interesting that Americans are reacting positively to a Citroën design!
November 14, 200718 yr Very nice, I always loved the French (Women included :AH-HA_wink: ) Anyway, I hope the rumour of them planning to bring these over here to Canada comes true. Edited November 14, 200718 yr by Polish_Kris
November 14, 200718 yr Why can't GM be this creative!?! Well because they have dinosaurs like 147 year-old Lutz running the show, then there is your answer.
March 23, 200817 yr Beautiful! Such a good looking and un-boring midsize sedan. Citroen's compact, the C4, is tres cool as well.
March 23, 200817 yr There are a lot of gorgeous Citroens and Renaults in Brazil. I've seen a hot looking convertible down there, too. Especially in Florianoplis. Maybe with the rise in the Canadian dollar and rumors about Volvo pulling out of Canada, there will be room for the French again.
March 24, 200817 yr It's a lovely design, very teutonic for Citroen. Citroen always baffle me though - it seems as if they can't find a theme that they're wholly settled with, unlike sister company Peugeot. That shouldn't detract from the latest C5 though - this is an exceptionally good-looking car.

June 12, 200817 yr I actually have no problem at all with the C6, either, but the C5 is a little bit more cohesive. I'd consider it - if they sold it here, that is.
October 10, 200817 yr I would love to see PSA come to North America. Peugeot would take on VW. Citroen would morph into an answer to Audi. Ultimately, I'd love to see the Japanese big three be replaced by VW, PSA, and Fiat. Renault replacing Hyundai.
