October 25, 200718 yr Scroll down and vote for GM in the Quick Vote area near the bottom of the page. http://money.cnn.com/ Edited October 25, 200718 yr by BuddyP
October 25, 200718 yr I voted for Toyota J/K Hmmm. I would have believed if you would have said that you woted for others.
October 25, 200718 yr Voted for "other". Ha (Other is almost beating Toyota! Come on OTHER!) Damn, should have bought Microsoft stock before Halo 3 came out.
October 25, 200718 yr I'm glad I voted before I had a chance to read the accompanying articles below the vote. I had to reach for my smelling salts. GASP! First, CR admits they have been giving a free pass and now another major media outlet admits that analysts may have been o'r hasty in declaring Toyota #1 in sales. Of course, NOW Toyota has no comment. What is the world coming to? Toyota is going to have to increase the amounts it pays these people.
October 26, 200718 yr That will make it "unscientific". CNN will call it that anyways. Edited October 26, 200718 yr by smallchevy
October 26, 200718 yr I voted, thanks for letting me know about this, cng ! Nice to see the general in command again!
October 26, 200718 yr That will make it "unscientific". CNN will call it that anyways. Um, because it is? It's a meaningless survey. There is no control over sample, or even over people voting more than once. You cannot draw any meaningful conclusions from it.
October 26, 200718 yr This isn't going to end up like the last time they did a vote and they(media, Toyota)accused GM of stuffing the ballot box. So of course it wasn't a "real" vote then is how it ended up being spun.
October 26, 200718 yr I'm sure Toyota will win... They're very masterful at fixing things like this. Well, that and every feable gamer wannabe without a life values "GT" cars from Japland higher than anything domestic, so that'll be a ton of votes right there. (a.k.a. if you sit on the computer for 5 hours at a time, you can vote a lot) I voted for the general tho.
October 26, 200718 yr I just voted and GM is ahead by a 2 to 1 ratio which suprised me. Must be a lot of Cheers and Gears fans skewing the results
October 26, 200718 yr Hmmm. I would have believed if you would have said that you woted for others. The only others I'd vote for would be BMW/MINI or one of the supercar makers. As far as full line automakers go, GM's definitely my pick.I just voted and GM is ahead by a 2 to 1 ratio which suprised me. October 26, 200718 yr It looks like they pulled the voting poll. I just went there and it is gone and another poll is up.
October 26, 200718 yr Bummer I went to vote and it is no were to be found in their listing of votes. So maybe the results will show up soon unless some Nazi who loves Asian Auto's so much will never let it show up again. Personally, I think like all big companies, This is the start of some negative downside for Toyota, which is long over due. GM time is now moving forward for the next few years as they build some of the best quality Auto's out there.
