October 27, 200718 yr My mom had a triple gold '69 Charger SE with a 318 and a Torqueflite. Check out this super dorky commercial. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UyxFDMpiHbE Edited October 27, 200718 yr by ocnblu
October 27, 200718 yr Have always had a warm spot in my heart for the 68-70 Chargers.....such a beautiful flowing shape to them for the time....and sort of timeless in simplicity and yet meancing at the same time. My mom's first car however was a orange metallic '68 Camaro. I dont know the specifics on it as my mom hasnt the slightest clue what trim she had or motor...
October 27, 200718 yr Author My mom was born in '44, I think her first car was shared with her siblings... a '48 Pontiac, I think it was. They used to drive it through the cow pastures.
October 27, 200718 yr Hahaha! Killer commercial. I love the old commercials, even older than that! I saw a commercial on Spike TV, it looked to me like they were going to try to put a 68-70 Charger body on a 2007 Charger chassis. I'll have to see if the commercial comes on again, I don't even know the show....
October 28, 200718 yr Hmmm.... I like those Chargers ... but, not too keen on that commercial, though it is cool to see the older commercials ... no matter how "dorky" .
