Wierd...first GC limo I've heard of...

I saw a sharp red-orange '65 Mustang convertible in traffic this morning driving to work, and a clean brown '79-85 Eldorado (I think I've seen this one before).

Saw a camo'd Challenger (black) on the freeway today.

Saw an uncamo'd Ford Flex on the freeway last week.

My father bought a 1940 Henney Packard ambulance yesterday afternoon and I spotted it behind his shop last night; does that count? :P

Two '08 Focus SE coupes at the local dealership. I swear this little car has grown on me considerably since we first saw it. It looks classy, more expensive than it is, a decent effort.

Hey Satty, maybe your NO FAT CHICKS sign should be put on the tailgates of all Tundra and Tacoma pickup trucks.

Now, back to cars.

I saw an 85 (I think?) navy blue El Camino SS. It was primo.

Bentley Continental in olive green

new Aston Martin

yellow Ferrari F430 (?) with the front end destroyed on a platform truck

This morning found me staring at an honest to goodness Suzuki Samauri that was in like new condition and struggling to reach 55 mph in a head wind. I cannot believe that I actually wanted one of those one day!

I work with a guy who has an 85 that he's owned since new. He's spend about 10K in the last few years restoring it. Has to be the worst vehicle I have ever been in EVER. No power, uncomfortable, crappy ride, noisy. Plus sometimes I have to listen to his BS stories about how its better than any 4x4 made now.

Saw my first Focus and Accord coupe on the weekend.

bright red GMC Typhoon

Gold Mist '08 CTS, appeared to be a base model

Saw a really cool 90 6000 SE AWD in great condition today. It was dark red metallic. Very nice.

It was tough to tell because it was travelling the other way on the expressway, but I do believe I saw a black, late model DB7.

An 08 LaCrosse CX, tan, tan cloth, with dark brown carriage cloth roof and vogue tires on chrome rims. :yuck:

Saw my first Taurus X. Not as bad as in the photos. Still not great.

Saw a nice-looking Solstice GXP. That's (I think) only the second one I've seen on the streets.

I saw a silver R8 today on my lunch run... first one I've seen..saw it quickly in busy traffic...looked great... had a Philly/NJ lunch today--went for a cheesesteak, had a TastyKake for a snack, and enjoyed listening to the Boss... beautiful, sunny day here--65 degrees and some gold leaves still on trees...4 more hours in the cube, then I'm free...

Some photos from ocn's Sunday lot cruise:

little red Focus coupe, looks nice (this dealer's only one left out of 4 last week):

Great shots of the Malibu 'blu! I had no idea there was a good looking Imprezza. I'm glad you told me. :P

2 new CTSs and a new Malibu in "the valley"

That regular cab/short bed Silverado has to be a rarity...I never see any like that around here, always extended and crew cabs.

I saw an unusual race car today...a pickup was towing a flat bed with an orange '80s Impala/Caprice 4dr race car on it...I'm pretty sure it set up for some sort of oval track racing rather than a demo derby...not smashed up and had sponsor decals...rollcage, racing interior...unusual sight.

new black XLR-V at the supermarket, parked next to a brown Ford Pinto. I hope the XLR didn't catch any of the Pinto's germs. Was surprised the Pinto was still running.

Funny, I can count on one hand the number of times I've seen a red Typhoon since it was new. However, I saw one too this past weekend.

Saw my first '08 Malibu yesterday - just caught a brief glance as it passed me going the other way, but it looked very good.

And I saw one of these on my way to work at 5:30 this morning. Same color scheme, and in excellent condition:

Saw my first MCE'd Tribeca...it was a company car.

Looks 100x better than before but at the same time looks anonymous/Chrysler-like.

Those shots of the Malibu look spectacular! Good eye Ocnblu. Nice job.

That's one nice looking Silverado shortie! One of my local Chevy dealers had a black one similar to your red one this past summer. I've been by recently and can only see that they had regualr cab shortbeds, but not sure if they're all dolled up or just basic work trucks. Maybe if I get a chance on Sunday, I'll check their lot out. If my computer wasn't acting up (we've been borrowing my mother-in-law's laptop the last two months), I'd post the pic I took of it because from the angle I shot, it almost looks like the truck has a sportside (stepside) bed (Chevy's rear fender flares look similar to a sportside bed, whereas the Sierra's rounded flare does not).

That regular cab short box Z71 takes me back to my late years in college. <sigh> Those were the days! You don't see many of those anymore.

One of those goofy little Suzuki cabover pickup trucks that are like | | this big. Some big fat dork in a plaid shirt was driving it!

  • 2 weeks later...

Coolest. Sighting. EVAR. I saw 3 yellow Corvettes driving down the road...2 C5s and a C3...the a burgundy one...the 4 more Vettes all in a row going the opposite way of us...it was awesome.

'07 Tundra traded in at the Ford dealer. It was sitting right out front, under the Ford sign. A very LAWL inducing scene.:)
