A friend of mine recently died of cancer. I was sad to see her go in such a way as she was a beautiful soul and a wonderful friend. For her funeral, a group of us (3 ladies and 5 guys) all got together and shaved our heads and donated the contents to locks of love to have wigs made. We attended her funeral bald headed. Since I shaved my head I have continued to shave it every night. I normally have thick hair and I must say its a big change to get accustomed to. I didn't realize how much of my body heat my hair held in my body. It's cold bein bald.

Good cause...I know what you mean about being cold...I wear my tuque all the time in the winter, even indoors... but I'd rather shave my head than have the graying horseshoe-shaped hairstyle...

sorry to hear about your friend.

Thats a very thoughtful cause. good work.

any of your other friends keeping their head bald?

Cool. Sorry to hear of your loss though.

My head has too many dents & scars to be bald. Seriously.
