There are a few set ups for true Ram Air on LS1 GTO's, but I think they are a bit pricey. I remember looking at them over at LS1tech.com a week or so ago. From what I understand, the skip shift eliminator is just a resistor that doesn't allow the solenoid in the transmission that locks second gear to activate. You can do this with a 2200 Ω resistor from Radioshack. The ones that SLP and other places sell are basically the same thing, but are designed better and can just be plugged in. I would look for the cheapest. Here are a few sites that I have gotten my LS1 stuff from: http://marylandspeed.com/index.php http://www.ls1speed.com/index.cfm

Check this out... http://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?p...ram#post6708865 I'm sure there is a middle of the road variant between set ups like these and just a filter. Check out some GTO forums, your bound to find something.

Ok i found ram air..... but theres no links to where in the hell you purchase it. one link led to an Australian company that i cant even order for. The other is for power torque engines and it does not have a link for purchasing there products.... frustration is an understatement
