August 23, 200520 yr Looks somewhat like the concept car (name escapes me) [post="2232"][/post] Airflite?
August 23, 200520 yr Looks like a poorly chopped Galant with a crossfire front end... Oh BTW.. I should stress stressing the "Poorly Chopped" a bit more
August 23, 200520 yr Hmmm... wonder if it will debut with the same 4-sp automatic that the new Eclipse and current Galant have? I figure if there was a 5-sp auto available for this platform that Mitsubishi would have debuted it in the all new Eclipse. Still only a 4-sp in an all new car.
August 23, 200520 yr Why has their platform info always been so confusing? Is the 2004-now Galant/Endeavor/Eclipse stretched from the 2007 Lancer (or vice versa, rather)? Or is everything compact and mid-size Lancer-stretched? This info has been so confusing for sometime. I thought the Sebring JS41 (2007) looked like the Infiniti G35 sedan in the side glass, but of course with passing fad slant-down sill line mixed with the Airflite. Looked okay, but a fully or near-horizontal side window sill as seen on Airflite (my favorite recent concept from Chrysler) would be much better I think-more of a substantial feeling, traditional too I suppose. And so this is the mid-size lineup I'm thinking is what's been rumored: Chrysler Sebring JS, convertible, sedan. Dodge (Vertex?) aka Stratus replacement JS, sedan, possible 5-door hatchback sedan. Chrysler JC49-Pacifica Junior or Airflow or something?
August 23, 200520 yr Chrysler and Mitsu were both wokring on the new platfrom, but now Mitsu is out of it.
August 24, 200520 yr what an ass ugly car [post="2759"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] There's a well thought out comment about a drawing based on someone's guess at what a completely camo'ed car might look like. ;)

August 24, 200520 yr Doesn't change the fact that the rendering is ass-ugly, though. [post="3020"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] That is true.....but that's not what he said. Here's what the guy had to work with. Feel free to take a shot at your own rendering: http://www.thecarconnection.com/images/gal...ATSCESMBWEX.jpg
