November 16, 200718 yr ...would I get if my next new car wasn't GM? Purely hypothetical, you understand. :AH-HA_wink:
November 16, 200718 yr Depends on what it is. Eying a Camry again are we? Edited November 16, 200718 yr by Dodgefan
November 16, 200718 yr Buy from the company that offers the configurations and bodystyles you crave... BMW Been there, done that, bought the car.
November 16, 200718 yr Buy from the company that offers the configurations and bodystyles you crave... BMW Been there, done that, bought the car. But Mercedes is the one who has hardtops.
November 16, 200718 yr Open your mind...buy what you want...what best suits your needs. Refuse to conform.
November 16, 200718 yr Author Bangle sort of killed BMW for me. Bite your tongue, Dodgeboy! 'sides, I'm not thinking German. :AH-HA_wink:
November 16, 200718 yr Sounds like someone is hinting around a 2002 Hyundai Accent GLS. Its totally not welfare-y
November 16, 200718 yr Sounds like someone is hinting around a 2002 Hyundai Accent GLS. Its totally not welfare-y Pssh, as if. What he really has his eye on is one of these 455 hp bad boys.
November 16, 200718 yr If I did, would I be offering these fine motorcars to you at below market value?
November 16, 200718 yr Bangle sort of killed BMW for me. Bite your tongue, Dodgeboy! 'sides, I'm not thinking German. :AH-HA_wink: They're starting to come back on the styling front now that they removed Bangle from the day to day styling (thankfully). Hyundai Genesis Coupe?
November 16, 200718 yr Pssh, as if. What he really has his eye on is one of these 455 hp bad boys. they stuffed 6 metro engines in that thing?
November 16, 200718 yr You know if that goes into production it means big trouble. It means the Koreans are actually learning how to design and produce some fine looking cars.
November 16, 200718 yr Fine as in, "Gee, that's fine for a Hyundai," because I agree. Fine as in "That looks better than anything the Japanese produce with the exception of maybe Nisaan."
November 16, 200718 yr Well since Camino mentioned not a a GM, I guess the Metro is out, but maybe this is what he really wants:
November 16, 200718 yr Fine as in "That looks better than anything the Japanese produce with the exception of maybe Nisaan." Affordable Japanese coupes = Solara, Civic, tC. As if that's any kind of achievement.
November 16, 200718 yr Author That thing's not bad generally, and amazing for a Hyundai, but there will never be an Asian car on my list. Actually, I amazed that no one has nailed my hypothetical.
November 16, 200718 yr Author No. You really want this sexy Camry. $1495 cash special. If it were $14.95 I could practice my sledgehammer swing.
November 16, 200718 yr Author How about a nice 540? I'll cut you a great deal! :AH-HA_wink: The devil tempts... That is a very nice car.
November 16, 200718 yr Author oh we were actually supposed to guess? Well, not really. I was more curious about how long I'd be crucified around here... I guess I already have my answer to that!
November 16, 200718 yr Author So was it the Challenger? Yes, every day I don't hear about a new Zeta being confirmed makes the Challenger look better to me.
November 16, 200718 yr Yes, every day I don't hear about a new Zeta being confirmed makes the Challenger look better to me. Then you can start a side business in making 'Cuda kits for Challenger owners!
November 16, 200718 yr Author Then you can start a side business in making 'Cuda kits for Challenger owners! That could be fun!
November 16, 200718 yr Author I always liked the 'Cuda's styling better than the Challenger's. Me too. I believe that the difference was more than skin deep as well, even some dimensions were different.
November 16, 200718 yr Oh wow ... that brings back some memories! Challenger, eh, Camino? Not a bad choice, I'd say. Cort:34swm."Mr Monte Carlo.Mr Road Trip".pig valve.pacemaker WRMNshowcase.lego.HO.model.MCs.RT.CHD = http://www.chevyasylum.com/cort "Nobody likes to be let down" ... Jack Johnson ... 'Flake'
November 16, 200718 yr Author Well it's something of an empty threat at this point - but I do like the car.
November 16, 200718 yr Camino's craving a Campmobile: Wouldn't you know there's one identical to that just up the road? Camino would really like one of these: *nods* Camino loves cute. Edited November 16, 200718 yr by blackviper8891
November 16, 200718 yr You'd be in BIG trouble if you bought yourself a Challenger. I'd be AT YOUR HOUSE that same afternoon to yell at you in person, then steal the keys. P.S. - notice that new RWD Hyundai coupe is being compared to the legendary Mustang in that styling clinic pic. It's the best looking Hyundai product I've ever seen, and with the 300+ horsepower V6 and six speed manual, all I can say is, look how far they've come since the crappy Excel. November 16, 200718 yr Author Point taken, Ocn. :AH-HA_wink: BV: That V8 miata would be fun to thrash mercilessly.
November 16, 200718 yr Author The danger of me actually buying a Challenger isn't too great as 2009 would be the earliest that I'll be buying anything new. But I would like to know that the Zeta(s) I want are actually coming.
November 16, 200718 yr No. You really want this sexy Camry. $1495 cash special. Heh, a guy here at work had one of those... but a bit more rust. It died a couple months ago.
November 16, 200718 yr Author BV should be buying that one. You sure did a nice job of making it look good!
November 16, 200718 yr Maybe this is more his style... "meh" @ 5.slow a 350 would have fit just as well.
