You'd have to be drunk, drugged, or just completely bias to find the BMW better looking. It's a nasty mess of weird shapes and forms that lacks cohesiveness.

I'm saying that you say the 5er is ugly-ish. Fine. But its original and unique. The Aze...er, Genesis is just another poorly-scaled-up version of the contempory generic Asian ideal of a sedan - chrome horizontal slats, bulgy headlamps, rounded vee-ing of the grille. Bland, boring, zzzz.

Well technically, the headlights don't bug-eye like they do in say, a Camry. Besides, I recall the concept looking quite handsome, if not entirely original.

I think LS is a more accurate comparison than the BMW...they look nothing alike. This is like how so many of you guys think every new car looks like a damn Ion.

Haha... I'm going to side with DF... The 5er is my least favorite BMW in terms of design. It's quite ugly.

I think of the new BMWs the M3 and 6-series are my favorites..although I don't care for the schnoz of the 6-series. The 5-series is by far the ugliest car in the BMW lineup, IMO.

You'd like my view then... my neighbor across the street just bought a new BMW 6-Series. It's growing on me... It's definitely more attractive than the 5-series.

The M6 is definitely my favorite. It's ass is a little hard to love, but it's a very nice design despite it.

I find the front of the 6-series to be a bit droopy since teh grill and headlights are mounted rather low, but it is overall a very attractive vehicle. In M guise it looks better and the front end looks better.

The resemblance is there between the new big Hyundai sedan and the BMW 5-series. The way the hood cuts around the top of the headlights, that radius, is definitely cribbed, and it is a noticeable feature. For all of the (some deserved) bitching about the Bangling of BMW design, there sure are a lot of copycats out there.
