The RIAA appears to have infiltrated the Ares network, and apparently the source code was released to them around the end of September. Stop using ARES if you currently are. Good luck. BTW if anyone knows a good P2P network, lemme know...
ARES? what are they?
Go back to WinMX. They're back, with a twist. If you look up some sites you'll find the way to get it working.

I quit WinMX last year. I am aware of this "twist" but so is the RIAA as it has been well publicized. Right now I'm trying out Shareaza. It seems dece so far...
I just use Limewire...you hae to pay for the good Pro version, but only if you're stupid would you pay for it...I guess limewire seems to forget that you can download the latest version of Limewire pro off their own P2P client...

LimeWire was also recently targetted by RIAA so continue using at your own risk...
I've been using Emule for a while, but as of late I havnt found anything worth downloading music wise. Not much out there to listen to these days for me.

I wouldn't download music, but I don't buy albums for single songs.
We currently use Azureus... any news on them? We've used Limewire off and on but like Azureus better.
I've actually just started using Bit Torrents...gonna see how that goes for a little while...
