November 20, 200718 yr Probably another stupid name game that they have been playing lately, adding number after G. Probably G7, or G9 maybe? or G8.5? I hate this new naming scheme that Pontiac is using these days. They should hire someone just to name cars, since they desperately need HELP in naming their cars. They can always use old names that they discarded like Phoenix, Fiero, Sunfire, Can Am, 6000, J2000, Star Chief, Safari, Lemans, Grand Lemans, Parrisienne, or their concept car names like Salsa(I think that will fit this car perfectly), Protosport4, Rageous, Banshee, Stinger, Piranha or others, but they just don't want to do it and likes to play the number game, so......... So I'd see the G8 Series as: - G8 Sedan - G8 Wagon - G8 Activity Odds are they market it as an "active lifestyle" vehicle, much like Honda tried to do with the Element, Nissan did with the Xterra or what Pontiac intend for the Aztek. Mountain bikes, surfboards or kayaks are likely props for the auto show debut.

November 21, 200718 yr I like TranSport too. It fits the vehicle well. Most likely if it's used, it will be G8 TranSport. Pontiac G8 Ute would also work, though it's not creative enough.
