1979 Ford Bronco

Featured Replies

I have one available to me... automatic, matching numbers rebuilt trans and engine (351) solid body (just cosmetic rust), suspension, tires, glass, etc. No carpeting. Any idea what it would be worth?

Do the Broncos have the galvanized inner fenders in 1979 like the pickups did? The earlier Ford trucks didn't have the galvanized inners and turned into swiss cheese, I think around 1978/1979 they changed over...

They were decent trucks IMO, not sure of the going rates for them though...

Don't know what they're worth, but those beasts are as rare as they come these days.

I wouldn't give you a nickel for most any Ford made after World War II (or most made before, for that matter!), but I've always liked the styling of the '77-'79 fullsize trucks and Broncos. The fact that it has the 351W instead of the 400M, which is a mutt motor that will scare away even the majority of most die-hard Ford people, is another big thing the truck has going for it in addition to its condition. Could be worth a few grand to the right person.

Pictures...?
