October 15, 200520 yr Alright I know I am going to hear the internal competition argument here. But really why not make a Buick kappa with a 3.9 HV V6, we know it will fit or a supercharged 3.9 and a hard top? You could charge about $28,000 for a base model with it coming pretty loaded and sell an Ultra with the 3.9 supercharged v6 or the 3.6 HF V6 and charge $32,000. Seriously it would help fill capacity at Willmington AND it would lower peice cost due to increased volume. Key competitors would be the Chrysler Crossfire and Audi TT. Heck this idea just came to me style it after the Velite OR make it retro styled after late 40s Buicks. Any comments or suggestions guys? Possibly a photoshop of some kind?
October 15, 200520 yr Honestly, a fullsize Riviera would be far more befitting and worth the effort than yet another tiny Kappa car with the same faults as the current ones. The Reatta was pretty cool, but even that had a decent trunk.
October 15, 200520 yr I'm with Fly. Kappa needs more variants within the current lines, not across divisions.
October 15, 200520 yr No! profitable Buick cant have a Kappa, we need to give non profitable saturin a Kappa.....Theres my Kappa stance  As for a better reality than GM is headed suckling that impoverished brand would be this Kappa at Buick, full lux sports in only two options a coupe or a Vert. Any and all options would be delete. I guess exept for all this new gidget, gadget electrono, save my ass garb, I guess they would have to be options. Then the replacement for the current Lacrosse with a platform that would take care of backseat issues and be bodied with strikingly styled sedan and 2dr. hardtop would be most appropriate. I embrace the 3.9 but somehow it gives me the creeps in the same sentence as Buick. Ill need time on this one. Still and all though, what good would it do ? To answer the question - YES, Buick deserves the Kappa, Buick made much money during the 80's & 90's for GM, wheres their investment from profits ?
October 15, 200520 yr I would like to see the next generation LaCrosse on the LWB Epsilon have a convertible and coupe in addition to the sedan.
October 15, 200520 yr Kappa's flexibility hasn't been fully utilized yet. We only know it as a two seat roadster. What about a sedan variant (1 or 3 Series KILLER, anyone?)? Or a coupe off of the stretched sedan? Who knows? I think that most of these cars I'm speaking of should go to Pontiac. Still, it'd be nice to see that happen. Buick needs a Velite coupe/vert, not one the side of the Solstice.

Kappa with all the changes needed to make it into a viable sedan or 4 seater of any kind is not realistic and ends up not even being Kappa.
October 16, 200520 yr Kappa's flexibility hasn't been fully utilized yet. As 91z4me stated, the experts have told us that Kappa has no flexibility.
