i hate winter but i love snow...

and all the stupid shenanigans that go it!

let it snow!

It was supposed to start here last night, but we have nothing yet. If we do get snow, this will put us behind even more at work. We are slammed right now with tow-ins all over the place.

Been snowing here a few weeks. Let it snow. I got a good snow blower and a 4x4. Go slow in the snow people!

We're about to get hit by our first snow storm that's expected to drop 5"-8" of snow with sleet mixing :smilewide:

There has been plenty of snow in the high country this season so far, but very little here in the Denver metro area...one at mid October, one last week...a little accumulation, but it melts off in a day or so...supposed to be a dry, mild winter here, which would be a nice change after the horror of last winter (big storm every week from late Dec to early March).

Light mix falling here with heavy rain to follow later. Actual accumulation very nearby.

Ah...the freezing rain mixture of sorts was sssooo fun to drive in yesterday on I-57, then again on IL RT 47 after a brief lunch in Champaign/Urbana IL....

"It seems like yesterday" ... Bob Seger ... 'Against The Wind'

Got a little shower of sleet this morning. I was out and about this afternoon running errands, and once in a while I'd see a vehicle with an icy nose (freezing rain accumulation), other than that it's been raining here, blah.

1" of ice, followed by sleet and snow here. This is the second snow we've had so far this year, the first being a day before Thanksgiving where we had whiteout conditions and lots of trucks and cars in the ditch. People never seem to know how to drive when the first snow hits.

We had our first major snow fall yesterday. We've had a little on the ground all week, but we got about 8 inches on top of that throughout the day yesterday. What a mess. The city is never ready for the first one.

If Fargo, ND isn't ready for the first snowfall... then there is no hope for the rest of us. Amazing.

I got my snow beast Suburban on the road today, so I say bring it on!

We got an inch... just a teaser, but boy was it so nice to wake up to it this morning and decorate my Christmas tree. It just made the mood! Now it's all rain, and tomorrow it'll wash away with more rain.

I want at least 1 major snowstorm this year... we usually get a million ice storms/sleet storms, etc. Just give me one where the snow is nice, light and fluffy and we're all stuck inside with hot cocoa and a movie :)

It is almost ridiculous how unprepared they can be. It was just starting to snow when I woke up at like 6:30 on Saturday morning, and nothing I was driving on at about noon had been plowed yet. There was already at least 3 inches on the ground by then. It's ridiculous.

I've already had some fun gettting tail-happy in my RWD Maxima.

4th-to-2nd, drop the clutch, WOT & liberal countersteer... :smilewide:
